Jacob, Emma and the rest of the peculiar children are on the run. Their loop has been destroyed, the wights are nipping at their heels and they have to get Miss P to London and find Miss Wren before time runs out. I admit, I was a little hesitant when I first started reading. All the mystery of the children's home had been revealed and I was afraid I would lose interest in the story. I was so wrong! The action kept me interested, the cast of new characters and peculiars kept me curious and the advancement of the wights kept me intrigued.
