Yallfest, Wagons and Pugs

Monday, October 10, 2016

We are preparing for Yallfest and we're super excited! Only one more month to go. This will be our first trip to Yallfest. We've been to enough cons to have a general idea of what to expect. Long lines, little sleep, meeting our favorite authors and tons of internal fangirling!

To prepare ourselves for the event, we are reading all the books! Okay, maybe not ALL the books. Believe me, if I could read all of the books by all of the authors who will be appearing at Yallfest I would, but sadly, I have never mastered the art of speed reading, instead we plan to read as many new releases as we can by authors who plan to appear. These are my current must reads before we leave

If by some miracle I'm able to finish them in time, I will move on to my hope to reads. I have several books that I would like to read by authors I have never read before, but have heard great things about their work. Together we will be lugging a ton few books to the event in hopes of getting some of them signed.

After plenty of research and back and forth about what best to haul our beautiful books around in, we settled on a wagon that claims to safely hold up to 150 pounds. As you can see, it is currently being kid and pug tested. So far, the pug approves.

Special thanks go to our models Eleven and her beautiful human, Haley!

My name is Eleven, and I approve this book!

We also have a backup, just in case something should fail or we pack too many books (which is just silly because there is no such thing as too many books), we like to be prepared for anything! November is going to be an exciting month for us and we can hardly wait for it to arrive.
